Location

Heron Place is located off Viewfield Road, the main access road into Portree from the south. Portree, the island’s capital, benefits from a selection of shops including supermarkets, hotels, restaurants, leisure facilities, a modern medical centre and cottage hospital and also both secondary and primary schools. The Skye Bridge is some 32 miles to the south providing access onto the mainland. There is an abundance of wildlife to look out for on the island including the huge Sea Eagles with their white tipped tails, Golden Eagles, resident seal colonies and, if you are really lucky, you may even spot a whale, porpoise or dolphin on your travels.

Directions

On entering Portree from the South, continue past the Isle of Skye Candle Company and the entrance to Heron Place is on the left just after the sign for Woodlands B&B. If travelling from the centre of Portree, Heron Place is directly opposite An Airidh, Bed and Breakfast.
