Legal team at FMS
Ferguson MacSween & Stewart evolved in the 1970s from the oldest established legal practice in Portree on the Isle of Skye. Throughout its history of expansion and devolution the provision of a high quality legal service has underpinned the entire organization and this is still the case today. The company opened a branch in Main Street, Kyle of Lochalsh in 1993 thus providing the first resident legal and property service in this area. In 1998 the firm expanded once again and opened new premises in Dingwall, Ross-shire. The legal practice of Ferguson MacSween & Stewart now operate from Portree, Dingwall and Kyle of Lochalsh. Today the partners are Murdo MacSween and Alpin Stewart, Murdo based in the Portree office and also with responsibility for the Kyle office and Alpin running the Dingwall operation.
